Skin Botox: Latest cosmetic treatment from Korea

You've probably already heard of Botox. and how it can contribute to a smaller face and to reduce wrinkles. Have you. however, heard of Skin Botox?

Botox VS Skin Botox

Botox, or Botulinum toxin. is used medically to treat certain muscular conditions. It has also been used cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles. Botox is traditionally injected into muscles deep underneath the skin.

This blocks nerves that transmit signals to the muscle and induces muscle paralysis. Muscles then gradually begin to shrink.

This is why Botox has been popular among people with square jaws seeking to improve their facial contours. or who want to remove deep wrinkles.

What is Skin Botox?

Skin Botox is an emerging cosmetic procedure developed by Korean doctors. It is also known as dermotoxin. meso-Botox, mesotoxin and MISBIB.

Skin Botox is made by mixing four to five times more saline than the traditional Botox technique. This dilutes the Botox more thinly. It is injected into the skin (derma layer), instead of underlying muscles. The Botox is usually injected several times, in small increments.

Botox Injectables-Anti Wrinkle

Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) is made from the bacteria that causes botulism. Botulinum toxin blocks nerve activity in the muscles.

Botulinum Toxin A (commonly referred to as Botox or Dysport) is the #1 requested non-surgical cosmetic procedure. It is injected to specific muscle areas (typically the face) to temporarily stop muscle contraction thereby causing wrinkles to relax and soften, thus helping prevent new ones from forming. Effects appear as early as 2 days after injection peaking around 7-10 days. It will gradually decline around 3-4 months. Results vary by person. Re-treatment is common every 3-4 months.

Botox lasts up to 4 months following treatment and is best known for glabellar injections to decrease frown lines using several injection points. However, Botox can also be used to improve crow’s feet and forehead lines, and to soften pebbling of the chin, sharpen the jaw line, improved down-turned corners of the mouth, and reduce neck bands or tech-neck it’s called these days. Depending on the exact technique your expert Botox injector uses, the injection time for Botox is around 10-15 minutes. We require at least 1 week advance notice to make an appt.
